This show means the most to Dante in his heart, because it was the first broadway show he saw as a kid and later auditioned for shortly after. The opportunity wasn’t right at the time, but it lit a fire in him and though it isn’t Broadway it means just as much to him. The show is so well made and the audience clamors in daily to see it. Working with an international cast, in a country not his own, in a completely different theatrical culture has its challenges but also its bountiful rewards. Each connection made transcends many layers and it feels so gratifying.

Having worked on the pilot tracks while Dante was still at Disney World, being able to assume the role of Dr. Facilier years later. After years since King’s Island this was the first Halloween show Dante had performed in since 2016. Transforming the theatre that previously held Lion King into a dark and ominous space, but the the audience loved it and so did the cast. The energy was palpable and it showed as they had to extend the show an extra 2 weeks, and even still everyone wanted more.

Being selected for this extra opportunity was unforeseen, but very welcomed. Now the second castle that Dante can sing in front of he was truly living his best Disney dreams. Being able to yet again share the stage with the most iconic characters of Disney. Dante said “there’s nothing more magical as a performer than looking out at their excited faces knowing I am just as excited as they are”.

This is Dante’s first real feature in a nighttime spectacular. He has worked on several other other projects as a background singer only, but his voice can be clearly heard in the upcoming nighttime show coming to Hong Kong Disneyland. This further adds to the simple idea that the greatest things in life can never be predicted and seldom come when we want, but rather when we need.
